CF Bridge of Hope is a care resource for those living with CF who need medical treatment and related education not available in their home country.

About

Cystic Fibrosis is an inherited disease that affects more than 70,000 individuals across the world, over time damaging their respiratory, digestive, and reproductive systems. The disease is chronic and degenerative, and at this time there is no cure.

In Western Europe, North America, and Australia, recent decades have brought new treatments and, as a result, a significant increase in the survival of individuals with CF. Improvements in health outcomes, however, have not been universal.

It is this inequity that inspires our mission at CF Bridge of Hope. Globally, we work to ensure that more individuals with CF, no matter where they live, receive medical care and supportive therapies that improve and extend life.

We recognize that it’s going to take time for local areas across the world to develop the capabilities to address the needs of CF patients. Through the educational activities of CF Bridge of Hope, we hope to accelerate this process by providing local physicians with education and tools to manage their own support programs

Our working partnerships include doctors, care providers, community members, faith-based organizations, and elected officials. All generously volunteer their time.
